Steven C. Braverman
President/CEO
Mr. Braverman is the founder and Chief Executive Office of Steven Charles Capital. Mr. Braverman began his investment career at Bache and Company in 1969, later serving as a financial consultant for Paine Webber, Inc., and Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner and Smith. In 1983, Mr. Braverman left the retail brokerage industry to manage pension assets as Senior Vice President for Boston Security Counselors. Two years later, he established Steven Charles Capital. Mr. Braverman holds a Bachelors Degree from Colgate University and attended the New York University Stern School of Business.
Jeffrey E. Braverman
Director of Research
Mr. Braverman began his employment at Steven Charles Capital in 1993, working as a summer intern from 1993 to 1996 and as a Research Analyst from 1996 to 1999. He was promoted to Research Associate in June 2000 and Director of Research in October 2006. Mr. Braverman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Dan G. Stone
Portfolio Consultant
Mr. Stone joined the firm following a tenure of eight years as a Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert Group, Inc. Mr. Stone recorded the demise of this one-time Wall Street giant in a book entitled April Fools- An Insider’s Account of the Rise and Fall of Drexel Burnham. Mr. Stone also authored How to Invest in the Market and taught Investment Research Courses at Long Island University. For over a decade, Mr. Stone has guided Steven Charles Capital’s investment philosophy and strategies. He also presides over the financial website www.Wealtheffect.com, which gives a broad range of investment advice ranging from mortgages and insurance, loans and taxes to, of course, the stock and bond markets. Mr. Stone received both his Bachelor of Science and MBA degrees from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Robert M. Lynch
Vice President of Asset Management
Mr. Lynch comes to Steven Charles Capital from Procter & Gamble, where he spent the first four years of his career as a Brand Manager on the $1.5 billion Crest portfolio. For the past two years, he has managed the $3 billion P&G Healthcare business at Wal-Mart. Mr. Lynch has undergraduate degrees in both economics and political science from the University of Rochester and an MBA from the Simon School of Business.
Martha Jo Pulver
Vice President/Chief Compliance Officer
Ms. Pulver has worked in the investment business since 1983. Formerly the Director of Operations at Advest, Inc., she joined Steven Charles Capital in 1986. Ms. Pulver serves as chief administrator with responsibility for compliance, reporting and other office operations. She attended Alfred State College.
